Progress report on building extension at the Community Centre

No new Post Office

In response to requests for a new Post Office in Downley, the request has been turned down by the Post Office Network Change Operations Team on the grounds that the location suggested has one Post Office approximately 1 mile away (Brindley Avenue) and another three within approximately 1.5miles. This issue will be discussed at the next Parish Council meeting.
