2019 has been as busy as ever with this outing taking us to nine organized this
year. At time of writing, we have “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie”, “Come
from Away” and “Mama Mia!” all sorted and to look forward to.
Please read the booking information: it should answer all your questions,
but please get in touch if anything needs clarification.
Remember: that places cannot be held by phone or email, to complete the
booking slip in full and include a stamped addressed envelope!

This will be our fourth trip to this concert, a great way to kick-start the festive
season!
We have a total of 50 seats, 25 in each area – please indicate your preference
on the booking slip.
Stalls – accessed by 2 flights of steps or lift, upholstered seats
Gallery – accessed by 4 flights (62) steps no lift, wooden “pew” type seating
without armrests
“Celebrate the magic of Christmas and join the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for
its much-loved Christmas Cracker show within the seasonal surroundings of
Cadogan Hall. Enjoy this festive extravaganza of sparkling Christmas songs,
Yuletide classics and audience carols – with special guest vocalists Anna-Jane
Casey and Matt Ford.
The program will include: The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open
Fire); The Twelve Days of Christmas; Jingle Bells; Have Yourself a Merry Little
Christmas; Sleigh Ride; Tritsch-Tratsch Polka and Winter Wonderland.”
We were entertained by Anna-Jane Casey in 2017, this year sees her welcome
return following Emma Hart’s performance last year. Matt Ford was recently
heard on radio and tv in the John Wilson Prom. Sounds like we’re in for a treat…

Booking information
Complete the booking slip – in full, please, this saves us having to look up your contact
details from our files when it comes to confirming your place(s).
Places cannot be “held” by phone or email; your request goes on the list when we
receive full payment.
Let us know at the time of booking if you have any special requests: a seat at the front
of the coach (seats in the middle cannot be accommodated), an aisle or middle-of-the-
row seat in the theatre etc., and we will do our best to accommodate them.
If you receive the information by e-mail but don’t have a printer, please copy out the
details we need from you onto a piece of paper:
Names of those booking, full postal address, contact telephone number, e-mail address,
the trip you are applying for, how many tickets you would like and the total of your
enclosed cheque.

Don’t forget to enclose a stamped addressed envelope so your tickets and/or joining
instructions can be posted to you – we no longer deliver by hand.
Once the closing date has been reached, we work out if the trip is viable and will let you
know you are booked. The first named person on the booking slip will be notified, please
pass on confirmation to other members of your group. If the trip is cancelled through
lack of support, your payment will be returned.
The book and pay by date is the last day bookings can be accepted. After that, we have
to pay in full for the exact number of tickets required so there are never any left over.
Full joining instructions and tickets, when issued, will be posted to your home address at
least two weeks before the outing. We do this enabling you to have a crack at getting to
the venue yourself should you miss the coach. Please double check the departure time in
case this has been changed.
We do not operate a waiting list system: if you cannot go for any reason, sell your
ticket(s) on and let us know the name(s) of the new people travelling. If you cannot sell
them on, please let us know that you are not coming so we are not waiting for you to
turn up on the day.
Cross Court is the only pick up and drop off. Travellers should not approach the driver to
make other arrangements.
Payment is generally non-refundable but we do our best to make refunds where
possible.
