Downley Dynamos boys loses battle with sepsis

Oliver Darlington - an avid Wycombe Wanderers fan - was "fit, healthy and strong" before contracting a "heavy cold" which led to sepsis. The teen, who also played football with Downley Dynamos, spent four days fighting for his life in intensive care in Southampton before he sadly passed away on January 3.

Police launch manhunt after man kidnapped and attacked in Downley

On Tuesday morning at around 12.30am, an 18-year-old man was forcibly walked into a wooded area near to Plomer Green Lane in Downley. He was then attacked by two men. He sustained cuts and grazes to his face but fortunately did not require hospital treatment.
